AIDS Walk

Did you know that Atlanta has the 8th highest incidence of HIV/AIDS in the country!?

I am participating in AIDS Walk Atlanta on Sunday, October 21, and I'd like to invite you to support me. All funds I raise will go directly to MISTER (a program of Positive Impact), one of the eight participating agencies that benefit from the walk.

These agencies serve thousands of people living with HIV/AIDS.  MISTER and Positive Impact provide these individuals with HIV testing, STD screening, empowerment programs, linkage to treatment and medications, mental health services, substance abuse counseling, and clinical research, as well as HIV prevention programs to our metropolitan neighbors and friends at-risk for HIV/AIDS in Atlanta. And every service is provided at no cost to the client.  

You can donate online or place donations in the offering plate on any Sunday (please indicate 'AIDS Walk' in the memo field).
